ENRICHED CAGE
#DIDYOUKNOW?
Enriched cage hens are referred to in German as "Klein Gruppen-Haltung". The name says it all: a small group of hens live together in a large cage where they can walk around and have access to perches and laying nests. The occupancy of these chickens is 13 chickens/m². These chickens receive GMP (Good Manufacturing Practise) feed.
You can recognise enriched cage eggs by the stamp on the egg starting with 3.
